Class 2 and 3 have been studying ‘Weight & Measures’ recently. They began with some imaginative origin stories for the development of traditional units of weight such the stone, the pound and the ounce and then explored units of length and volume. They also learned about our modern metric units of measurement and how we can now make easier calculations with these by using the sorting of thousands, hundreds, tens and units.
